This little creature is called a Potto, and it’s in the same family as lemurs and aye-ayes.

The jaws and teeth of a brown lemur. I find the tooth combs endlessly fascinating. They’re canines and incisors! Those sharp looking things are actually premolars! Lemurs, you’re weird.

I did a series of studies on infraorder Strepsirhhine skull casts in dental anthro lab. Hope to get more of these on Tuesday!
This is an aye-aye, weird because its incisors are rodent-like and it has no premolars.
