depleti: hannahmcgill: depleti: Rough idea for a TMK poster. As usual, I’m a total sucker for everything to do with that snake, and I love the macro-comp of this already. I like how my eye goes from the left corner, to Jormungandr’s pupil, to the first character in the line on down to Coal! One thing I’d suggest is moving the giant eye over to the right some, give the viewer’s eye a little more white space to move from that starting corner on over to the snake eye, as well as ‘unbalance’ the composition for more dynamism. It’s a really really good idea for you to capitalize on Jormungandr’s design like this. XD THANK YOU! Those are some really good points. I definitely will incorporate those, and maybe keep fiddling with this. Maybe show Jormy’s mouth so he can be smiling? I dunno. I do like his design though. Too bad he’s not a super major character! But oh well. XD You’re welcome! I love talking about TMK. :D I feel you could have bits of Jormungandr here and there throughout the comic as the characters travel, like you see the snake’s coils tightening around a mountain range but his front half and rear half are too far away/underwater and can’t be seen, just to give the idea that while he’s not a major character, he’s certainly the WORLD SNAKE. And Loki’s all, atta boy son. Yeah, try a comp with his mouth present!
